We need to take up an eco-friendly approach & use minimal resources in our day-to-day life to help the situation. There has been a surge in plastic pollution in recent decades not only in water but air and land as well. The plastic bottles, polythenes, & various plastic articles used in houses & factories, organizations, and offices are the major reasons. As we know plastic is non-biodegradable so it never vanishes & always remains in nature.   

Plastic in the air, water, soil & food chain

The plastic breaks into small pieces & mixes in air, water, and soil in the form of microplastics which we breathe through air, and drink in the form of water. Also as these microplastics are a part of soil now they are absorbed by plants and crops. As a result, the food we eat, fruits, vegetables, and grains also includes plastic in the form of microplastics which is consumed by all of us. It affects the whole community be it vegetarian or non vegetarians & vegans. 

Groundwater level

The groundwater level is also going down drastically. We really need to work on reducing water usage & stopping water wastage & spillage. And avoiding the usage of chemicals including pesticides, fertilizers & plastics to make the world a beautiful & nice place to live.
